Cat6 network cable
Solid-core Cat6 for all horizontal runs, rated for Gigabit and PoE handsets.
From site assessment to a fully deployed and organised network infrastructure — structured cabling, a properly mounted network cabinet, and a VoIP-ready environment.
LITS began the project with a detailed site inspection to understand the client's requirements, existing infrastructure and operational needs. We assessed the office layout, existing network equipment, cabling requirements, user connectivity requirements and the planned VoIP deployment.
The site already carried a PBX line, but it was dedicated purely to voice — it provided no data path for the business. That constraint shaped the cabling and switching design from day one.
We don't simply arrive and start pulling cables. Every deployment starts with an assessment, so the design fits the building and the business.
Headcount, desk positions and the connectivity each role actually needs.
What was already installed, what was serviceable, and what had to be replaced.
Central positioning for clean cable runs and consistent coverage.
Trunking paths along skirting and wall runs, planned before a single cable was pulled.
Wall-mounted cabinet sizing, mounting position, power and ventilation.
Data points and switch capacity for handsets, migrating off the voice-only PBX line.
Spare ports and capacity so the next desk does not require a new project.

Following the site assessment, LITS developed the required materials list and sourced the equipment needed for the installation. Materials were selected based on the client's current requirements while allowing room for future expansion.
Every item was specified against the assessment findings — no guesswork, and spare capacity built in from the outset.

Before installation commenced, the existing infrastructure was documented and assessed. This allowed us to plan the cable routes, equipment placement and network cabinet layout before any physical installation work began.
These "before" records form the baseline for the after comparison — a clear, visual record of the improvement delivered on site.

LITS carried out the physical network deployment — structured cabling, termination, equipment installation, cable management and network configuration, all completed against the layout agreed during the assessment.

Every run is terminated, tested, labelled and contained. The network cabinet was relocated to the rear service area so the router, switch and patch panel sit together in one secure, ventilated position — which is why the fibre line now terminates directly at the cabinet rather than in the open office.
Structured, documented and expandable — spare ports and cable capacity are already in place for the next desk.
